Structure of the Implant
Implant treatment essentially consists of three main parts:
Implant Body: The artificial root (titanium) placed in the jawbone.
Abutment: The connecting piece between the implant and the tooth.
Crown (Cap): The visible aesthetic part of the tooth.
Recovery Process After the implant is placed, a waiting period of 3 to 6 months is usually required for it to fuse with the bone. At the end of this period, a permanent porcelain tooth is fitted and the treatment is complete.
